It always made me think of country boy (maybe that's because there are a lot of those around here) but I work with a Travis now, and he's a decent guy and not country at all. I'm actually starting to like it myself.

I really like this name as well. And for a long time it was in my top 5 while I was growing up and loved names.. however now that Im engaged... my fiances last name is travis... so I guess I wont be able to use it but I fully support your use of this great name :)

I knew a couple of Travis' growing up. One was an absolutely skank and just.... gross... so he's kinda the association I have, because he was my age. Another one about 4 years older than me was super cute and nice, but I didnt know him as well.

W/o the association, it's a name I could like.
