I like Michael and Emily (but wouldn't use Emily since its so popular right now. I don't like Amelia, and I don't like the spelling of Alissa, I prefer Alyssa. Scott is NMS, but isn't a bad name.

I love Emily and Amelia, especially Amelia.
My surname is Scott and if we ever have a son we're going to give him Michael as a middle name (it's my husband's middle name and he wants to continue the tradition). We both like the name Michael but I'm not sure how I'd shorten it - I'm not sure I like the name Mike on a child.

I heart Mikey. :) I knew a guy who stayed Mikey all the way through high school.

My boyfriend is a Mikey and he's 25 :)

I am loving Alissa lately too. I can't decide if I like Alyssa better or not.

I think i prefer Alyssa to Alissa because, although it looks slightly tackier IMO i hate the name Lisa.

I love Amelia, but i'd prefer Amalia. The future Dutch queen is named Amalia, and that would be my only reason for not using it.

I like Amelia with the nickname Mia.

Michael is my brother's name and Scott is my dad's name so I would never use either of them. Plus, they just seem like boring names to me.
And incidently, my brother's name is Michael Scott.

Not to mention the fact that Michael is the first name and Scott is the last name of the boss on my favorite show, The Office.

There aren't any other boy names you like besides those TWO?

My son's name is Scott. I like your name choice, they're a lot like mine. I try to go for names that are timeless. I know Emily is popular right now, but it's been a stable name around for many, many years.

i like alissa and amelia but thats it. michael and scott are quite common names and i dont really think their even nice. emily although its common is pretty.

I actually really like all your names - though I must say I'm partial to Emily because it has been my lifelong dream to have a girl named Emily (even before it was so bloody freaking popular!) This baby decided not to cooperate though, and grew a penis, so I think for his sake we'll not name him Emily ;)

"Scott Michael" was Chris' #2 name... I like Scott, but I have exes and weird stuff with both names.

I think they're nice names... but if you were to use them all, the girls' names are way too similar, especially Emily and Amelia... they look like they could even be the same name in different forms. I like Amelia the best.
