It really depends on which middle name you choose. To me, Connor fits with everything the best (by far). If you use "Trotman" as a MN, I'd eliminate all the first names that end in "n".
I probably still would, because of the following associations: 1) The 'trot' in Trotman makes me think of 'the trots' as in slang for diarrhea. 2) It just sounds too much like Troutman.
I always talk about how I hate Elise, and then when asking for opinions on the middle names I already chosen, several people suggest "Elise" anyway (and don't bother saying anything about the names I asked about).
I am discovering it's popularity, I just found out it's my sister's #1.
I voted down on Trey because it sounds bad with both mns, and Elijah because I'm completely sick of it. It baffles me how such a heavy-sounding religious name has gone so trendy.
I like Logan, Owen, and Nolan best, in that order. Connor is ok, but I'm pretty sick of that one too.
Trot makes me think of "having the trots" AKA diarrhea.
Nolan and Connor are both quite nice. I think Elijah is adorable for a young child, and I really like the name, except I just can't imagine it at all on a teenage boy (although somehow I can imagine it slightly more on an adult man). It just sounds too cutesy for a teenager.... in the same way as Noah (cute for a little kid, suited for someone with a beard, but not for people in between).
I don't like the names Owen or Trey, and Logan is ok. I think Thomas is an awesome middle name. Trotman is awful but I remember your first post about calling him Trot and this is a huge improvement on that, at least!
I like Trey a lot. I'm not a huge fan of Owen or Nolan BUT I definitely prefer them to Logan and Elijah. Both Logan and Elijah are sooooooo popular, it's just annoying. They've become boring.

I wonder if you would say that if it were a family name...?

However, a middle name isn't used on a daily basis... and it's better than being stuck with Trot as a first name.
Compromise... the downfall of not being a single parent... lol.

I think I got frustrated with PP because 1) I am pregnant, and 2) I didn't ask about the middle names!!
To be honest, I'm glad someone hates Elijah.
