I much prefer the spelling of Alan (maybe I'm partial because it's my boyfriend's name and I see it all the time.) Though, I understand why you would spell it a certain way. =]

On a humorous note, Jeremy Allen and Philip Andrew are actually my husband's brothers names... so... good on ya for that one *grin*
