Jason Bateman and his wife Amanda Anka (daughter of Paul Anka) have named their new baby girl Francesca Nora.

Not a big fan of Nora, but I love Francesca. :)

while I agree with the OP I don't love Nora, or the combo.. it's a decent name. Certainly one the kid will be able to live with and even remotely LIKE as they get older. :)

I think it's lovely, especially Francesca. Francesca Nora sounds better if you say Bateman as well.

Yes, i dont like Nora so much but kudos for a normal, ratehr original name. Fanchesca is one of those names i want to love but i dont like any nicknames for, so i dont.

One of my best friends is named Francesca and I call her Cesca (pronounced CHESS-kuh). =)

Hmm, I never thought of that. And I've been calling her Cesca for years. LOL I guess it depends, like, if you know you're saying "Cesca" and not "Jessica" it just doesn't cross your mind that it sounds like Jessica. Good point though. :)

I like it because it is unique and pretty, although I'm not sure about the combo since they end in the same sound. I ADORE Nora and all its like-names (Eleanor, Eleonora, Lenora...).
