Elyse is French for Elizabeth. I actually never saw it spelled with an i until recently. It's like Elyse Keaton from Family Ties.

Lenèe is like Renee with a L. I don't like it. I like Renee though. My husband's parents couldn't agree on the name for their second kid. His mom wanted Lenea or something and his dad wanted Renee, so this is the compromise.

"Janice- HATE reminds me of janice from friends OH MY GOOOD" LOL! I didn't think of that!
