Oh man... I just joined and boy have I got a gem of a name for you... My friend/neighbour is pregnant. She's about 4 months along and desperately hoping for a girl. She has named me godmother and I am begging and PLEADING with her that she please rethink the name that she has picked out for her daughter. Meanwhile I'm praying for a boy so that a) I don't have to actually call this child by the name she picked out and b) she doesn't saddle the poor baby with this name for the rest of it's life.

Brooklynn Harmony Milla.


Is it me or is this name just horrible? Brooklynn, I could almost stand. Milla is after her grandmother, so whatever. But, HARMONY??? *shudders* I'm praying for a boy, but some of her boy names make me want to curl into a ball and cry.

So, am I crazy? Or is this name as horrific as I think it is?

EDIT: She wants to call her by her middle name, Harmony. I forgot to add that when I posted. :P

Harmony's a hell of a lot better than Brooklyn IMO. I wouldn't use it because it's a bit too silly for me, and it reminds me of the Buffy / Angel character, but personally I prefer it to Brooklynn which I think is horrible.
