Another girl with a boy's name.

I was at work yesterday and there were two little girls named Kennedy and Carson. I've loved the name Kennedy for a girl for a couple years now, but I have never heard the name Carson used for a girl. I personally do not like it. What do you guys think of Carson being used as a girls name?

I don't get highly worked up over the boy names on girls thing, but they really, really don't appeal to me at all. I just have taste with some feminity to it. Carson just seems very hard and dry and unappealing on a girl imo.

I love the name Carson for a girl or a boy's name I think it's pretty. The only reason I'm not using it for my soon to be soon is that my mom's best friend named her son that years back and I don't want to use a name I know it's my own quirk.

I HATE Carson for a girl. It is totally a BOY'S name. I do like some girl names ending in -son, but the biggest reason it's boyish to me is that it ends in SON. Like somone's SON.

The only Carson I've ever known was a girl, so I automatically think of it as a girl's name. But she was a bitch, so I don't particularly like the name.

for me the only carson Ive known has been a girl so it just seems natural. I kinda like it for both though.

I know of a girl named Karsyn.
I don't like the name Carson for either sex.
