(no subject)

at work, I was entering customers into the computer, and I noticed two names that, well, the first and last names practically rhymed. honestly, don't parents think about these things? one was Dan Lamz, not too bad. well, not as bad as the other name I found... John Schwan. now that is just terrible. it's like.. Joe Schmoe, but John instead of Joe. :/

*blushes* I've got a rhyming name - my first name is Sarajane and my last name is pronounced "sane"... lol

I come across stuff like that all the time at work. =/ I also come across a lot of names like John Johnson and Robert Robertson. What are people thinking when they give their kid a name like that? I mean, they either think it's funny and amusing, or they just couldn't come up with anything better. Neither excuse is acceptable!

There's a guy who comes into my work names Thomas Thomas. I laughed the first time I saw it, which I think offended him. Ooops. He said he was named after an uncle or something on his mom's side, but then it was their last name too, soooo. :-X
