Salem.

My mother's friend has a new granddaughter- her name is Salem. She was born on Friday the 13th; but, apparently, this name has been picked out since her mother was in high school.

What do you think? My mother loves it.

I think it is alright but it's not something that I would ever use.

oops.. I think I cut the comment accidentally.
I was saying it is interesting, but Salem is a place - Salem, Massachusets, NH, and Oregon - and maybe more. And it's related to witches, which is find nowadays, but not for everyone. I personally wouldn't mind, but you know.. some would.

We are in NH, too. So, I'm assuming that she meant to reference the place. Not sure, though.
