Just wondering if Lucifer would be a good name to use for a baby. Would it have to much of a negitive image being the name for satan and all? I just adore the name.

This reminds me of a story.....I'll cut it short don't worry. I would like to think I am a pretty open person when it comes to names and what not.....but I use to do support groups for teen moms and there was this one teen couple that had two kids and their son's name is Lucifer and their daughters name is Lucifa. I was curious one day and finally asked why they named their children that and the guy was like,"Well, I think the children are demon seeds so why not name them after satan." I was like you have got to be kidding me. I think the girl was being abused by her boyfriend but refused to say so cuz that is just mean. But yeah I kind of had a judgemental moment about the kids names.

I'm sure that is not why you want to name your kid Lucifer and frankly if it wasn't like another name for satan then I would like that name too. I love the tori amos song father lucifer. ;P I like Lucious and Luicus but my mom being a reborn christian *rolls eyes* she almost had a heart attack.
