Is this supposed to be Lila? When someone makes up a new spelling for a name they should walk up to a total stranger and ask them what name they think it is.

Yuck. I would probably guess it was Lila, but I imagine some people would read it as "LIG-luh" which is so digusting.

Just because "light" has a gh in it doesn't mean everything that starts with a "lie" sound has to. It's the exception word, not to be copied in names. I find GH ugly all the time, even in Leigh.

God it took me a couple of seconds to figure out that it was supposed to be "Lilah". I like Lilah but that spelling is disgusting.

I like Lila, Lilah and I am even willing to go for Lyla or Lylah in a pinch, where LIGHLA is the only other option. Good lord.
