her name is Cassady Evelyn Leanne
It works when we have to call her by her full name.

Speaking from the point of view of someone who had one and now has two (by my own doing), I think it's fine! Hehe. :)

I'm not a big fan of it unless it's for a specific reason such as honoring family members. :)

I think if you can make it flow, and if you can choose names that are meaningful so that all of your children have two middle names and it's not like "MOOOOOOM! How come Kyle has two middle names and I don't?!", it works.

I've toyed with the idea before, and I still might, depending on how my future SO feels about the idea. I like the idea of using one mn to honor one parents' family or choice and the second to honor the other's.

We did that because my husband wanted my maiden name in there too. I kept my maiden name plus my married name, so I have four names now too. It makes the lines run over on my drivers' license so I always have to point out where my last name is; other than that it's no problem.

I think it's fine. My son is Josiah William Anthony. William is my stepdad's middle name, Anthony is my bio dad's. I couldn't pick just one, and I think that it sounds fine.

people hardly ever use the midle name they've got, so having two is pretty pointless.

I'd never do it. It seems pointless to me. I mean, I guess if you have a need to do two namesakes or something. But I'd try not to do it otherwise. I can't even tell you the last time I used more than the first initial of my middle. I'd have absolutely no use for an entire other name in there.

I have two middle names and I'm doing fine. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I don't hate the fact that I have two middle names.

However, I will only be giving my future children one middle name.

I'm fine with it. In fact, it's what I plan on doing most likely...and for that specific reason, too.

i have 3 middle names. All of them are to honour my grandmothers;
one is named Marie-Therese which my parents splitted into Maria Theresia
the third name is just Anna from my other grandma :)

I'm having two middle names, for a girl, Elizabeth Ann will be her middle name, Elizabeth being my older sisters middle name, and Ann being my mum and my middle sisters name, and Paul John for a boy, Paul and John being my dad's first and middle name.

I'm really neutral. I see it as a bit redundant, but with nothing particularly wrong with it.

Somehow, I feel like it is more personal to give only one middle name, unless it IS to honor ...someone or something. I don't know why. I've always liked the idea of giving a child a first name as a gift, something significant and only his or her own... and a middle name as something to honor something or someone else. Like, if I was going to name my child after someone or something, I'd want it to be the middle name, not the first.

..But I still don't see anything wrong with it, and despite what I said up there ^ I still am tempted to give my child two middle names. Though that's mostly for the lack of enough children for all the names I want to give, unless I want to be the old lady in the shoe. (But I'd do it in a way to make it flow, don't worry!)

I have two middle names and like it. I plan on giving my daughters two middle names, but sons only one. Long story. Anywho, so long as it flows, I like it. I'm Holly Megan Ruth. The only drawback I've ever found is fitting my full name onto a form.

The only person I can think of that I know that has two middle names is my cousin and her name is Whitney Nicole Patricia.
Patricia, of course, after our grandmother.
But to be honest, I think it's kind of unnecessary.
If the grandparent is still alive at the time of the birth it seems silly to throw their name in just because. But that's just me.

I have two middle names and I've never really had any feelings either way about that. One of the names is a family name (Moyra) and the other is just one that my parents liked.
I do get annoyed when there isn't enough room on forms to write both of them, though!
I think two middle names would be my limit, personally. Any more than that seems to become a bit of a mouthful.

i have only one middle name, but plan on giving any of my boys 2 middle names..
the names my fiance and i have picked out are:
Clay Michael Eugene Dufour and
Ayla Jane Dufour

Michael after my fiance, and Eugene for my grandfather (who always wanted a boy and got 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters)
and Jane for my grandmother who died when i was 6 weeks old.

Our family did that.
And there all for honouring, too. Like:

Tamsin Colleen Campbell Fitzgerald
(The 'Colleen' being after my aunt and the 'Campbell' is my great grandmother's maiden name).

Annie Elaine Law Fitzgerald
(Elaine... well was sort of going to be her first name, but Annie wanted Annie. And 'Law' is my mum's maiden name)

Oliver Keith Douglas Fitzgerald
(After my grandfathers. He was the firstborn, no duh.)

I think I like two middle names. I like how long names look when written down.
