I really love the boys name Denny but I'm not sure that I want to use that as a real first name. The only names I can think of that Denny would be a nickname for are Dennis and Denzel which I'm not too fond of. Any other names you could suggest?

I used a search engine and they gave me:
Denis, Dennys, Dennison, Denniston, Denzel, Denzil, Denzell, Denit, Dennit, Dion, Denny, Tennis, Tennyson, Dionysus

...I don't think I would go as far as to name my son Tennis, lmao. I like Dennit but it's a little too similar to dammit for my liking. I also like Dennison but for some reason that reminds me of medicine =/ and what is the pronounciation of Dionysus?

I like Dennison, but it sounds like you meant to say Tennyson, which I LOVE.

I don't like Tennyson, it reminds me too much of the poet. Not that that's a bad thing, but for that reason it just strikes me as a surname only. and plus I don't think you could use Denny, you'd have to use Tenny, and that sounds a bit ridiculous IMO ;]

I like Dennison.

Dionysus is die-oh-nye-sus, he's the roman god of wine and drunkeness.

You'd have to hate your baby to name it Dionysus! first of all it starts with "die" and it means drunkeness? haha ;]

You could always go with one of the Aiden, Caden, Braden names.

Good idea, Aiden could work as my Dad's name is Aidan, so it would also be his namesake. Thanks :]

My son's middle name is my father's first name and it makes my dad incredibly happy!

Are you pregnant and having a boy? Otherwise I suggest it for a girl...Denny sounds like a nickname for Denise.

I like Alden a lot, Denham sounds way too much like Denim which can't be good, and Denholm... well we'll not go there ;]

Well I'm from the UK, so I don't think I'll have that problem :] although we have Dennys meat and they make a cracking great sausage, haha.

I love the name Denneel // Danneel... Denny could be a nick name for Denneel ?
