Alexei and Nicea

what do you all think of Alexei Rodin for a boy?
It just popped up in my head and i like it^^

and what about Nicea Kym (Kym is the name of a chinese friend of mine, its pronounced like Keane but with an M) for a girl?.
I really like the name Nicea (pronounced like ni-C-a the C part is like CEreals if that makes sense LOL) 

I  havent heared the name Nicea before and i think its a great name^^

It reminds me of the Nicean Council (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Nicean_Council) but maybe that's intentional?

Nicea sounds like someone is really bad at speaknig the english language and instead of saying 'nicer' they're trying to make something nicer than nice & made up a word.... Nicea. Nope i dont like it.

Alexei.. hmm i do actually like Alexei. i'm not sure about the spelling but im not sure how else i'd like the spell it.

eh i guess so, someone mentioned it here and i looked it up on internet and turns out there was something catholic there :\

Yeah, I hear Nicea and I immediately think "Council of". Those aren't really the kinds of religious connotations I look for in a name.

I like Alexei, but I'm not really a fan of Rodin as a middle name.

Alexei is good. Rodin makes me think of rodents, no matter how it's pronounced.

Nicea sounds like somebody tried to make a name out of the word "nice" :-S

Reminds me of Anastasia's brother. Quite possibly not the BEST association, but it still reminds me of a really cute boy.
