Not TTC or anything, I just love names. My list has changed quite a bit in the past few months, so here you go:


First Names:
Luke
Jacob (Jake)

Middle Names: (I like middle names that are used to honor someone else - family, friends, heros, etc.)
Michael – my brother’s fn
Atticus – from To Kill a Mockingbird
Brian – one of my best friend’s first names
Timothy – my dad’s name
Otto – paternal great-grandfather’s middle name, grandfather and cousin’s first names
Charles – maternal great-grandfather’s first name
Paul – brother’s mn, uncle’s fn
Philip – uncle’s name
Robin – aunt’s name…I don’t like this as a girl’s name, but I like it for a boy’s name
Franklin – as in Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Yes, I know, it’s weird, but I love him.

Margaret – maternal grandmother’s first name
Rose – as in the first syllable of Roosevelt. STFU, I love them.
Lillian – my best friend’s middle name is Lil, so Lillian is the longer version. Lil just seems unfinished.
Judith – longer version of Judy (it, too, seems unfinished) after Judy Blume, my favorite author.
Harper – after Harper Lee
Scout – To Kill a Mockingbird

i like jude as a nickname for judith? i really like it as a girl's name, actually. i used to LOVE judy blume!
amelia is pretty. i prefer the spelling annabel, because that's the way my friend spells it and its somehow less frilly! annie is cute, but i think i prefer anna?
i LOVE elijah robin- that's beautiful. & noah michael. i'm not that fond of the name franklin but it sounds REALLY good with samuel (which i like a lot).

I'm not a huge fan of Franklin, either, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Roosevelts and I can't think of someone I'd rather my kid share his name with.

I like Jude, too, and I would LOVE to use Judith has a first name, but I know that everyone would call her Judy and I hate that name. It sounds so middle aged to me! lol
