How do you pronounce Celestia? Celeste-tia?

I really like Helena Isolde! Arden is a nice name, I think.. one I'd never considered before, but I like it! =) I can't, however, muster any love for Gemma...

What is the attraction of Gemma? Helena is only okay when it's hel-ay-nuh, not a massive fan anway. Arden sounds like hardon, but if you get over that it's quite nice. Rosalind is fine but I can't help thinking it's a bit much, i'd be tempted to use the nn Rosa.

Scarlett as a first name :-D

Whenever I hear Scarlett I think Gone With the Wind.

I like your middle name choices a lot more than the first name ones *shrug*

Arden is just terrible. it's the LAST NAME of a freaking purse designer! (or perfume or whatever. I hate the trend.)

I am unaware of this designer, not like I know that many anyways

it's terrible because even if it wasn't a designer's last name, it would still be a horribly ugly girls name. it just makes it worse to think people would give their kids ugly names because they want to use the last name of a designer.

I love the name Arden and it is an actual first name, not just a last name. I don't associate it with a designer either. I can think of many people who have given their children horribly ugly names in this community.

i really like gemma, but i didn't prefer it paired with any of the middle names on the list. Gemma Fae was particularly bad to me, becuase if you reverse the first letters, you have Femma Gay, which is horrible. :P What about Gemma Rosalind?

I really like Helena and Gemma as first names, but I didn't like ANY of your MN choices.

Arden does remind me of Elizabeth Arden, but witht he way some people react you'd think it was "Hitler" rather than Arden. Even if someone heard the name Arden because of the designer, it's not like you're naming your kid after her - you just like the name. It's also similar to Arwen.

I don't like Helena the way you pronounce it (Helen with an "uh"), but as Hel-AY-na. Even then, it's not my favorite. Nor is Gemma. Gemma Scarlett is a bit much I think, because you might as well name her Ruby. Gemma Scarlett, Scarletts Gems...

Rosalind I like. It's shakespearian, it's relatively uncommon but not unheard of, and ther's much potential for nicknames. I also like Rosamund. I like Scarlett, Celestia (bit of a mouthful, but pretty), and especially Isolde. Are you pronouncing it the French way, like Ee-zold? It's awesome no matter what. That's why I like Rosalind Isolde. It's very... literary with a lot of history.
