Even though I shouldn't be, I'm actually a bit shocked that Howard K. is claiming to be the father. I'm also wondering if it's true.

And for some strange reason, I kind of like the name Dannie Lynn Hope. Not my usual style, but it seems fitting. I hope this little girl has a wonderful life, despite all the tragedy surrounding her first few days.

Whether the father is true or not, I think that "Dannie" is a nice memorial to her beloved son. My middle name is Lynn and I love the name Hope;)

Hmm, really? Because I had read that she was going to name her Daniela but then changed it back to her original choice of Hannah Rose. So many contradictions!

The article I read on cnn yesterday had it as Danilynn Hope.

I'm really not fond of Lynn names, and I'm not terribly sure it's that nice to link this girl forever to the memory of her dead brother - though I guess that's going to be true whether she's named after him or not. It just seems kind of depressing to me.

I hate it! Dannie? erughhhh not a nickname for a firswt name, esp one thats mostly used for a boy. Lynn is so hickyesque. I thought she had named her Hannah?
Oh wait she's named after her brother i guess, thats horrible. Maybe as a middle name but i dont like them having practically the same name. A child should have it's own name, not carry around the name as it' dead sibling, too morbid. My uncle is named John Michael after his dead brother... John Michael gross.
