[identity profile] ex-electricr583.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I just found out Friday that I'm having a baby girl...which makes me extremely excited. It's a lot more fun for me to pick girl names than boy names. I have a looooooong list of girl names and it was pretty much definitely going to be Adrian for a boy. And that's no fun, right? I mean, of course I adore the name Adrian, (1. because it's a part of my husband's name and 2. because I just like the way it sounds) but it pretty much sucks all the fun out of everything when you're set on one name from the get-go.

So, my current list is this(almost in priority order):
First Names:

Eden
Anastasia/Anastacia
Lilliana (Lily)
Tegan
Niralee (Ner-ah-lee)
Tai-San
Lark
Edie
Evie
Evan
Ariel
Sabine
Christina
Ana Maria
Candice
Lorraine
Jaclyn
Marilyn
Satine
Asia
Gabrielle
Lavender

Middle:
Rei/Rae/Ray
Dei/Dae/Day
Mei/Mae/May
Love
Hope
Joy
Faith
Rain
Dior
Chanel
Coco/Cocoa
Valentina
Rose
Lark
Holiday

I know a lot of you aren't going to be fans of my names, particularly, my middle names, so, don't tear me apart, but do feel free to suggest. I'm in a very open stage right now and very willing to add to my list.

I like glam names. I like the names of fashion designers, models, and retro actresses, among other things that can be interpreted as sophisticated or fabulous. Modern and edgy, but recognizable as a name and not WAY out of control. I don't mind common names, but OVERLY common names (Brittany, Lynn, Marie, Leigh, etc.), are icky.

My last name is Holland-Snow, but the baby will only be taking the Snow part.

My name is Gazelle Faith and my husband's name is Adrian Kiran Pride Snow, if that means anything.
