First off.. I was watching divorce court and saw this guy named Jehrad on it. Pronounced Jared, which I thought was stupid.
Opinions on that?

2nd.. What do you guys think of Miley for a girls name?

3rd .. What nicknames do you guys think are appropriate for the name Cody ?
I call my son Code sometimes which apparently according to a friend of mine isn't acceptable. [she can fuck off]
So what nicknames do you guys know for that name if any. Just curious to see what people say.

We call my step-brother Code, so it obviously can't be too unacceptable. IMO, it's the only nickname really for Cody that's "okay".

I dont think Code is bad. Then again people think its weird all my dad and his friends and people Ive known for a long time call me Court (for Courtney.) haha... I guess Im used to it

i think miley is really really adorable. like, really adorable. i like it. a lot. and the more i think about it, the more i like it. seriously, i need to stop thinking about it.

i dont really like Miley, but i love Mille (Mè-lle)

and i think Cody is already a nickname-ish name, so id stick with Code

I don't like Miley bc it just reminds me of another Kiley or Riley name. aside from that there's nothing inherently wrong with it.

and as for calling Cody 'Code' I think it's totally acceptable esp seeing as how it's one of those things that just happens with a name that doesn't have a really obvious nickname. for example, my ss is Logan and gets called Log, prn. Low-guh basically but really without the 'uh' sound. I was just trying to illustrate that it's not Log as in log cabin. Just the first part of his name, just like Code is the first part of Cody. :)

I knew when you said "Log" that it was pronounced the beginning of his name, but I know most people would be like "what.. log?" cause you know.. their idiots :/
My friends problem was that she was like "where did you get code from? you can't add that extra e out of nowhere" .. but I had to because if I said Cod.. it would sound like "ca-odd".

There's a soul food place in Detroit called Miley and Miley's. Their catchphrase is "When you wanna be smiley, smiley come on down to Miley and Miley's". I suppose that has ruined the name for me.
