I like it! My only problem with it is the association of having a semi-big town near here with that name.

I was just going to say that I love it, but I had to comment here instead that I also love Rory as a NN. I think we might have used Aurora/Rory had a friend of ours not named his baby girl that about 3 mos before our daughter was born.

I love this name and I've never thought of the NN Rory for it (not sure why) but that makes me love it even more! :)

I can't say it either - "Rora" makes me feel like I'm chewing something.

I love it. :) It's on my list, along with Aurelia.

I also happen to love its associations with the aurora borealis and Sleeping Beauty. &hearts

For about five years, this was my absolute favourite name ever. I still like it a lot now, so I'm giving your husband a big thumbs up!

I like it alot, but I am so self concious trying to say it because when I was a kid I had such issues with 'r' sounds. I can't hear myself but I think its cleared up... words with too many r's still make me uncomfortable though. Aurora is one of them. But I love it.

Its okay. It just doesn't... FLOW very well. Its the -rora part. I hate Rory... there are just too many r's in there, it doesn't sound right.
