That was hard for me. I ADORE Eleanor AND Eliana. I couldn't pick, but I finally chose Eliana, because it means, "my God has answered." I adore them. I would not shorten them to Ellie or Liana though. For a nn, I'd probably just call them El.

I like Eliana best for the meaning as well. These are all on th top of my list, and they all work in Hebrew, which is fantastic, but I'm so torn, haha.
