Daycare Names
Sep. 12th, 2006 08:20 pmThere are only 4 kids in my sons class in his daycare (its a daycare strictly for students, and its free, but you have to do volunteer work for it) The kids in his room are:
Adean (not a weird spelling of Aiden, A-dean) (b)
Siddha (g)
Alexys (g)
and, of course, Dylan (my son)
I've never heard of either Adean or Siddha... i think they are both interesting names. I wonder where they got them from.
Some of the other kids there are:
Lance
Skyler (love it, for a girl though)
Koal (love the name, hate the spelling)
Aiden
Kamunga
Allyson
Mya
Angelina
Madison
And thats all I can remember at the moment lol What do you all think?

Date: 2006-09-13 11:06 am (UTC)I like Siddha.
Don't know if it's at all connected(spelling is making me thin it's Indian or something), but in that augh.. whats it called. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood!, yes, that's it, movie, the main character's name is Siddalee and they call her Sidda. The names of the other children strike me as very Southern, and perhaps French as they were in the Bayou (sp??) area. I like the name Sidda, but don't know if I would ever used it because its from that movie, and I would feel liek I should use Siddalee, which I don't like so much (or at least, I associate the full name mor eiwht the movie).
Of course, I'm a hypocrite because the name I do plan on using for a daughter is from a movie. :)
