Clay Michael Dufour
Clay Lee Dufour

What do you think?

The first combo flows better. Two one-syllable names in a row sounds choppy and awkward.

Of the two I'd have to say Clay Michael is better. Clay Lee is too short and choppy and it sounds like Clayly or something LOL.

Clay Lee kind of sounds like Kayleigh with an extra 'L' thrown in there.

i agree. clay michael is definitely a better choice!

Clay Michael. Lee just sounds rather...blah. And like a filler middle name. Besides, Clay Lee sounds like it's all one name - Claylee and that reminds me of Kayleigh.

as a few people said, clay lee sounds like a botched verison of kailey.

clay michael!

Clay Michael is a better combination of the two choices.

Clay Michael sounds better.

Clay Lee sounds like Kaylee - kinda feminine.

Clay Michael

I think they would both sound better with Clayton...
Clayton Michael and Clayton Lee
...then you could use Clay as a nn. but if I have to pick between the two I'm gonna continue the Clay Michael vote. Clay Lee just doesn't work.

[identity profile] iwanttobemyself.livejournal.com 2006-09-13 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
no, no you weren't being silly. it really doesn't work. but then again I don't like Lee with anything.
