I have a Francophone friend who is the mother to five children (two boys, three girls): Ugo-Frederik and Tristan, then Dianne, Solene, and Elsarose.

WDYT? I quite like Tristan and Solene in particular, but the only one that I really dislike is Elsarose (who, though she is the youngest, I can say she was born before Frozen came out, and yes, she is referred to as Elsarose all the time, with no nickname).

Dianne feels a bit stuck in time because I know so many middle age women, but I think it makes a very nice name for a child, as does Solene. Tristan I know a lot of people like it but personally not a fan. The three of them do make a lovely French sibset.

Ugo-Frederik, love both names & they sound great together but spelling will always be a problem.

Elsarose, again I love the names individually but I think its just too cutsey together.

I've always liked the French pronunciation of Dianne (dee-anne) and Solene is beautiful as well. I've noticed a trend in giving little French girls double 'English names' like Elsarose. The Canadian Prime Minister's daughter is named Ella-Grace, and Johnny Depp's daughter is Lily-Rose. Seems to be a popular thing.

As a francophone myself, I was quite partial to Hugo when I was pregnant. I also like Solene (or does she spell it Solène?).
