A family friend had their baby sex/baby name announcement party this week, and will be having a girl named Sawyer Elizabeth. She will be their second daughter; their first is Eva Lane (not 100% sure on the spelling of Lane, it's either that or Laine).

WDYT?

I don't like Sawyer for a girl especially when their other daughter has a feminine name. I do like Elizabeth and Eva Lane or Laine.

I like the name Sawyer, for either sex. I have a friend with Sawyer Kate (g) and a friend with a Sawyer Lee (b).

And actually another friend's new puppy is ~Sawyer Grey~

I would never use it but I really do like Sawyer better on girls.

Though I agree with Lisasimpsonfan it's less appealing paired with a feminine name like Eva. Elizabeth Sawyer is lovely with Eva Lane.

Sawyer has always seemed masculine to me, so not a big fan of this for a girl. Blame LOST and Mark Twain.
