I think I like the name Hamish. In fact I know I do.

Sadly my last name starts with H and is one syallable & sounds horrid with Hamish.

Your thoughts on it?

er.. I think Hamish is HORRIBLE on its on no matter what the last name may be. THink of the jokes that can be made. I personally wouldn't want Ham in my name lol..

Hamish sounds really cool. I hate to use the word cool to describe it, but I don't know what other word to use. I really like it for some reason.

I really dislike Hamish. I know only one man called that and he is old. Despite it being a Scottish name I don't think Scottish people like it that much!

Name your child that, and you'll have to accept that you're risking your child being called Ham, Hammy, Pig, etc. Especially if they were on the pudgy side. =\
