Teagan for a girl? Thoughts?

we've been seriously talking about Teagan for our baby girl. we all seem to like it and it fits well with the one middle name we definitely want to use. it's irish which is kind of important to us and it doesnt hurt that it has a Doctor Who connection too :)

I like it. It's cute but it would grow up well. Nice nickname with Tea. So yeah unless you are a huge family of vegans go for it. Sorry bad joke but I really do like the name.

I know a few Teagans: there was a girl with this name in my last school and one of my friends used it for her (now teenage) daughter. I think it's certainly workable though I don't think I'd use it myself.

My just about 7 year old is named Tegan. She gets called Tiggy, Teg, Tegs and Tigs on a regular basis. For some reason people really really like to shorten/nickname this name whereas it almost never happens to my son. She's run across a few others with the same name but is always the only one in her class. Thumbs up here.
