We had a birthday party for a nine-year-old girl today at work, and her name is Febe. Pronounced exactly like Phoebe. According to Behind the Name, it's the Dutch, Spanish and Italian version. A couple co-workers said it looks like something you would name a pet.

I knew a Phebe at Uni. Febe looks like half a name at first glance, I agree on paper it like a pet name.


Reminds me I know a kid Bede its one of the few names I do not see any appeal, his nn is Bebe.
