In my dialect (Newfoundland English), "stun" or "stunned" means stupid, simple, idiotic. With a name that reads, "awww, stun" i hope this child never lives in Nfld.

Stun instead of Stin makes me think of stupor or a stun-gun.

I've always like Austin/Austen for Jane Austen but spelling which he will be constantly fixing really takes the shine off a nice name.

I like Austin too. It was on our list of possible names when we were last pregnant. But that spelling is atrocious.
