random baby names (bc there are soo many!!)

we're still trying to figure out an name for Punkin. we've definitely settled on Jeannette as one of the names, but we can't decide on any other name. we like a lot -- just can't narrow it down.

Alexandra was mentioned the other day. it's ok.
Schuyler was mentioned again. i'm not sure.

i'm still pushing for Lily.
i also saw a really pretty Irish name i like but i'm not sure if we should use bc the spelling is super Irish and if we did use it, i fear we'd have to American-ize it just so ppl wouldnt pronounce it like Abeline..it's Aibhlinn (which if we American-ized it i'd probably want it to be spelled Avelyn, i'm just not sure if i like that spelling 0.o)
Lily-Grace is one i thought of today (i remember the gf saying she liked Gracie a while back)
Lilybeth was one that the hubby suggested a few weeks ago and i actually really liked it bc i wanted Elisabeth but gf didn't like it.

Andie is wat i had a dream we were calling her. i like it ok, i just dont kno if i love it.

we've talked about using 3 names since lil prince has 3 names and we all 3 of us are supposed to get a say in the naming. gf came up with Jeannette soo i guess me and hubby are supposed to come up with the other 2 names..lol i'm not sure..i think he was the one that said he liked Alexandra (or maybe just Alex but gf said she liked Alexandra better)..and i really want Lily..idk why..i just feel like she's a Lily..i had said Willa might be a name to consider a couple of weeks ago to honor my father, but gf didn't like Willa (liked Willow, my 2nd suggestion) but then it seemed like that idea got dropped..my hubby suggested Diana (since they were kind of wanting a D name and i thought that was kind of nice bc my aunt who passed earlier this yr, her name was Diana)..Dahlia was also a name that gf really liked (i like it too and i think hubby does as well) but we were afraid ppl would associate it with the Black Dahlia :/ i personally wouldnt mind bc i'm a serial killer/horror junkie, but it might not be the best thing for a lil kid ya kno?



EDIT: i searched the meaning of Lily right after i posted this (i hadnt done it yet) and in one form (the latin one i think it is) it means not only lily flower but also PURE. and remember how i said a few weeks ago that i wanted to name my daughter Caitlin bc it was similiar to Katherine (my middle name; my grandmother's name) which meant PURE..? maybe my subconcious was trying to tell me something bc i've never been soo adamant about naming my child Lily before. infact, it wasnt even in my top 10 til we got pregnant with Punkin and then like right away i kept thinking "she has to have Lily in her name somewhere" i honestly thought i was pushing for Lily bc of the Lee sound and how i wanted my own mother to be honored somehow (her middle name is Lee -- Jeannette is in honor of hubby's grandma who raised him and gf's mom) but now i'm thinkin someone -- something -- was saying that i needed Lily bc it would have the Lee sound sure BUT more so, it's got the meaning of PURE in atleast one origin :) this makes me really happy!! maybe they'll let me have it if i explain to them that it has a special meaning to me after all!!

I just wanted to comment to say that, as a Jeannette spelled exactly that way, this post made me happy :) I also really love Willa. Willow is nice as well, but I like Willa slightly more. Lily is very pretty as well. I'm a Jeannette Victoria, in case you were curious haha

i worried Jeannette was too clunky looking but it's growin on me :)
Victoria is my bestie's middle name soo i'm pretty sure it's a no as far as naming goes bc my partners dont like my bestie too much (the feeling for gf's bestie is mutual soo..yeah)

i told them i wanted Lily. idk if they'll take it into consideration but i told them that it would mean a lot to me.

hubby mentioned Ashlee last nite (which i honestly really like)
and Mae (which i'd thought about a few weeks ago but never said anything about)
and Nora (which is not a bad name at all is kind of close to my mom's name of Zora soo i'd be ok with that lol)
