Nausika is interesting, I loved the Valley of the wind she's such a brillant female character. I also assume manga... but she's also in The Odyssey so maybe her parents are into Greek History and the Trojan Wars?

Maelle I know is a fairly popular French name, but the other two mashups are nms at all.

Since it's a mostly francophone community, probably rhyming with hah-yell, but the 'y' sound would be barely pronounced. For Jaelle, the j is pronounced like the 's' in 'treasure' or like Zsa-Zsa Gabor.
