Betty Ann(e) would work. I changed it to Elizabeth just because I prefer full names to nicknames as given names. If you have no problem using Betty as the given name, you should use it. :)

With older brother being Christian I wouldn't go Grayson/Greyson for the next one. Nirvana seems like something that wouldn't pair up well either. The only person I've known named Nirvana was an Indian girl (well older than the band) so I think I'm biased against non-Hindus using it at all.

oh bc of christian grey?? gf already gets asked if christian was named after him and he was born in 2008..shrug..i dont think it'll be a huge thing around here really esp since we're huge into batman and we could just say that's why we named him that (bc of dick grayson aka robin) if anybody asks..and no we can't use robin as a name bc we already have a 2 dogs named batman and robin (lol i said we're really into batman) if we went with that logic then anna wouldnt be acceptable either bc of anastasia steele..and gf has said a couple times that she loves that name soo yeah..

tbh, the christian grey connection never crossed my mind..one reason why we have been talkin about greyson/grayson is bc hubby had said he liked it a while ago (b4 we met gf and her son) and another reason is bc gf knows a guy named grayson and he's really cool..and she kept saying she loved his name..

i know a girl in england named nirvana..i like it..and i guess she was named after the band bc she was born in the early 90s and when i asked her 1x she said she wasnt sure but probably. one reason why nirvana was mentioned is bc gf is a huge nirvana/kurt cobain fan and i like them a lot too. i just randomly said it to her one day and she was like: yeah i kind of like it. it's not on the top of our list tho.

the funny thing about christian's name is that ppl assume gf was a huge religious freak for naming him that. she's athiest. she named him christian to honor her sister christy who died b4 he was born..she wanted to use christopher but her sister already had a son named that soo she didnt want to have a 2nd on in the family. she always meant to call him chris for short, but it never stuck.

we joked about naming punkin damien (you kno bc of the anti-christ in the omen being named that lol) could you imagine introducing our children as christian and damien?? in the bible-belt?? ppl would flip lol.

anyway. i can also c wat you're saying about nirvana (happiness, utopia, etc and being thought of as a variation of heaven) but honestly, i dont think any of us would really care about wat ppl think if we named her that. we'd just explain to them that we like the band end of story (esp since my partners are the kind of ppl who dont give a crap wat they say to ppl, i'm actually the nice one of the group lol)..and then i guess if we nn her Ana that would be thought of as another nod to 50 shades of grey..lol we're a hot mess no matter wat we do lol. oy vey.

i honestly think punkin is goin to be a girl and i'm pretty sure the nn of punkin will stick after birth soo she'll probably go by her nn most of the time (or a variation of that) anyway. i mean, honestly, i call christian bubby most of the time so yeah..i'm big on nn's (it runs in my family)
