I disagree with a lot of these. Names like Elizabeth and Charles are definitely classic and have been popular for centuries, but Samantha and Christopher haven't stood the same test. They definitely aren't faddish or dated names, but I wouldn't think of them as classic.

That explains why Samantha's slipped in. It did have some longevity considering it peaked in the 1920's, but its not what I think of classic.
