If you were to become the opposite gender, which name would you choose for yourself?

My name is Kirsty and I think I would become James.

I was going to be Peter if I was born male. However I think I'd pick something like Alexander or Sebastian for myself XD

ETA that my name is Louisa.

I'm usually called Emy (only really use my legal name at work). I would probably choose Matthew as that's one of the names considered for me if I were a boy.

I was unnamed for 3 days because my parents were expecting a Kieran Patrick.

I didn't like either name as a kid when I heard the story but now I think it would have actually been a very good fit. They short-listed Zoe, Beth and Leah, and went with the later.

I'd keep my name - Jamie or perhaps if I wanted a change - Logan. I've always loved the name, I think it'd fit me, but it's not necessarily anything I'd want to name a future child.

My mom has always said I was going to be David if I was a boy. And since my siblings have middle names that are from other family members, I'm thinking David Petter. Petter was my grandpa's middle name.

It's funny, I'm a Kate, but I was going to be a Zachary, and I really, really dislike that name.

I think I'd be a Will, or an Oliver maybe, or something pretty traditional, knowing my parents. And I like those names, but if I were choosing for myself, I think I'd go with Ben.
I liked the sweetness of the name Matthew quite a lot, but then I married one, so that's probably not the best option! :)

I am Alyssa and my parents would have named me either Jeffrey or Kevin if I were a boy. My brother is Kevin and I hate the name Jeffrey. If I were a boy, the name I'd choose would be Beckett.

I would have been named Harold Cale Nicholas, instead of Heather Courtney Elizabeth.

We go by our middle name so instead of Courtney I would have been Cale.

I myself would pick something like Dixon, Deacon or Declan.

My name is Amanda, though if I'd been a boy, they would have named me Benjamin. I'm not really a fan.

I'd have to do some serious research and try a few names out until I found a good fit, but my gut reaction is to pick Ziggy Stardust.

My name is Nadine, but up until the last week of her pregnancy my mom was convinced I was going to be a boy. I was going to be a Robin. :P Not my cuppa tea.

When I play video games, I sometimes name myself Warrick, but that's a direct crib from another game that I really liked as a teenager.

Mason. I've always loved the name, I don't know why. The only reason my son isn't called Mason is because he didn't look like one.

My parents would have called me Peter, Stanley or Winston had I been a boy.
I do actually like all three, but also love being Jade Rachel

Seamus. It was the middle name my parents would have given me if I'd been a boy + it's Irish + James is a family name.
