Heard today

Beaulieu, 1yr old boy. Pronounced Bew-lee. It's a local placename, and the pronounciation irks me, but as a name I find it even more flouncy.

Just said it out loud to my husband and heard balou...like jungle book. Haha. Bewlee soinds fine but that seplling...

I have family with that last name, and they say it Boh-lee-oh.

I know people with this as a last name amd they say it the same way. Saying bew-lee would make any French person cringe!
