My friend's 2 wk old boy is called Albie, but now she's thinking that she might like him to have a longer name with Albie as a nickname. She likes Albus but DH isn't having it. They don't like Albert. What other names could Albie be short for?

She could go for Albin/Alban, Albion, Alberto or even Albany.
Possibly Kalb (Hebrew name) with the 'alb' at the end.
Or she could give him three names with the initials ALB (for example, Alexander Louis Benjamin.)
