My ex best friend from h.s. her middle name was Nanette. She hated it.
I like Thisbe..It's got a whimsical sound to it..I think it's really cute..Even with the story behind it (I mean we still use Romeo and Juliet/Juliette as names today)

It reminds me of Frisbee with a lisp

Thisbe reminds me of combination of thistle and frisbee, similarly I like the name Thora but associate it with thorny.

I'd use Claudine.

I am surprised that Remus didn't make a little bit of a comeback with the Potter craze.

I LOVE Thisbe! It was on our short list if we had a girl. (We had a boy, so nope.) I think it is prettier than Thora or Thea, but what really sold me on it was how it immediately got "shortened" to Thistle, or Thistle-Bee as an adorable nickname.

In pretend-world, I'd love having sisters named Thisbe and Beatrix.

I know a little Nanette! They call her Nanny, which isn't my favorite.
