My husband's co-worker's girlfriend just had her baby girl and named her Harper Jean. Father's name is Chris, don't know mom's name.

I think it's a nice name, I like literary names.

ETA: My older sister also had a baby boy, named Bennett George. He joins big brother Ronin Josef. Parents are Jen and Brad.

Not a fan of Bennett, it's so trendy and I think of it as more of a last name.

I can't stand the name Harper! I think it sounds so ugly, and it makes me sad when there are so many gorgeous girls' names out there.

Same here. It's so harsh sounding. Harper, that harpy harping with a harpoon. Everyone else seems to love it, though..

I love Harper. I'm not to fond of Jean, it's just not my style, but it sounds ok with Harper.

I completely agree with you about Bennett. I like Ronin and Josef.

While I don't dislike Harper its the first name in the top 100 that has me scratching my head wondering how it got to be so popular.

I don't think the literacy connection boosted it at all, rather Posh & Becks.

-B names clash with my surname but I think Bennett would be my top pick, I love the Jane Austen connection. I love George.

I love Ronan, I haven't seen the spelling Ronin before. I think they're a nice sibset together.
