new babies

My friend and my cousin have both had little girls in the last few weeks, and both of them have called their daughters Lily Rose. Obviously, I adore both babies, but I'm kind of bummed with the boringness of their names.

My little man was born 17 days ago and we called him Willoughby Jonathan. He joins big sister Wren Melissa.

Lily Rose has to be the most boring name in history. What a snooze. As long as none of them think they're being original.

Willoughby is different, but it sounds very professional.

My great grandfather Clement was born & lived in Willoughby (NSW).

Love it. Its a nice alternative, I'm not into William but I've always loved the nn Will.

I also love Jonathan.

Yes Lily is very popular here in the UK right now. Think its in the top 5 even. I just can't bring myself to use names that the world and his wife are using.
