I think Laszlo is the traditional spelling? It is family name (Belorussian and Polish Jewish) on my husband's side, and it is always spelled like that.
I had a pet rat named Saint. He was named after The Boondock Saints. His brothers are Mischief and Hero (from Project Mischief from Fight Club and the movie Ten Inch Hero).
Those are all great names, we adopted 2 when I was in primary school, I called mine Scabbers, my brother had great taste and went with Penelope 'Penny'
I've also had Viking (Eric Northman, the Viking Prince from True Blood/The Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries); Teddy (Teddy Lupin from Harry Potter), Bennett AKA Benny (Bennett Halverson from the show Dollhouse) and Brony (who wasn't named by me). Brony was named after fans of My Little Pony because his owner (a friend of mine thought it would be funny when she rescued him from a neglectful owner). I got him when she had to move back in with her parents and never liked the name but he already responded and was over a year so I didn't want to confuse him. I called him Brony-peperoni, Brawny or Bronson.

Reminded me of Selma Blair's kid Arthur Saint which I like, but I have always assumed it was a family surname, dont like it as a first name.

It was cute on my rat. Not so much on a person...
