I heard a woman call her daughter Kessler in a store the other day. And today on Facebook I saw Anuh. My son starts kindergarten next week, I can't wait to c the names of his classmates..should be interesting..
2 years ago in my daughter's kindergarten class, nearly half the class had a name starting with A. Aine, Azia, Anza, Ashley (2), Addison... I can't remember anymore but there were 28 kids, and 12 A names.
I was excited to see if I'd come across any weird names when my son started school(he's in second grade this year) and so far they've been surprisingly normal. Of course the occasional Aiden, Jayden, Kayden etc sprinkled in too. There have been a few kids named Alex in his classes, didn't expect that to be so popular.
