Hey, I'm new to this community - just thought I might find out what you think about some names I have picked. (I've pretty much decided on the girl's name, but unsure what to name the baby if it is a boy!)
They may be a little different to the norm, I'm from Australia so I guess names here differ in popularity a fair bit to other countries.

Girls:
Layla
Taylah
Marie
Keira
Grace
Gypsy

Boys:
Zavier
Xander
Jackson
Bailey
Brandon
Johnathon

Layla - I really like it, and I hear you on the "ei" being confusing with spelling thing
Taylah - sorry, but this name just has to go
Marie - if it's not super-popular in Oz, go for it! I like Maria a bit better though
Keira - Kira is on my short list, I like really short girl's names
Grace - nice but nms
Gypsy - too much

Boys:
Zavier - I like Xavier better but very very cool name
Xander - i really like it!
Jackson - my new favorite boy's name!!!! it NEVER makes me think of michael jackson either
Bailey - a girl's name at this point imo
Brandon - decent
Johnathon - maybe try to convince the father that he will be honored with a J middle name that you both like?
