all my friends are having babies these days... latest arrival is a boy.

Wolfgang Joseph. Already declared to have the nicknames 'Wolfy Jo' and 'Wolfman'

Parents are Welsh & English, but they do both want to emigrate to Germany eventually, so maybe that influenced their name choice? I love them both, but I am not a fan of the name.

I dated a Wolfgang once, who went by Wolf. I like it.

I don't know. I don't really like either. Wolfgang is kind of cool, but a hard name to pull off. The nicknames are ridiculous.

I have a vendor with my company with two people named Wolfgang. I with with one frequently and he goes by Wolfie. He's from Austria. I think it's a fine name.

Joseph Wolfgang would've been better. Wolfgang is an intense name to pull off, imo.

Dislike both those nicknames a lot more than just Wolfgang. Like nn Wolfe a lot more.

I know a Wolfgang who is in his early 30's, parents are Swedish/German. I don't think it quite fits him mostly because it makes me think of elderly men & is so rarely used outside Europe.

I'm German and Wolfgang was my uncle's name, so to me it just feels old.

I had a cousin (3rd cousin actually) named Wolfgang Josef. They called him Wolfi mostly but Wojo was a nickname they had for him. His sister came to spend a summer with us once and when she saw the little mom and pop place called WoJo's that is near our house she wanted to go there all the time :)
