I need some name ideas for stories.  I want to use names that aren't common, but are actual names.  Some names I have used in the past include: Finn, Thatcher, Lila, Evangeline, August, Cosette, Harper, Atticus, Milo, Felicity, and Esme.  I want boys and girls names, so throw some at me!

Penelope or Pippa was the first one that popped into my head. Maybe...Corinne, Dexter, Fletcher, Thisbe, Cordelia, Auden, or Caspian? I love Atticus!

Setting? Character ethnicities? Lila makes sense for an American girl born in 1995 but not 1965. Cosette is the reverse - an older-sounding name that only hippie-ish or upper-class parents would select in more modern times.

When I choose names for my characters in stories, I consider setting, ethnicity, the class of their parents, and the characters' personalities...
