I feel like nothing is 'working' right now and I keep changing my mind! I feel frustrated for myself for not being able to make a decision and like anything. (I'm not currently pregnant but hope to be soon and want names more sorted in my mind.) The thing is I like a lot of names 'okay' but I'm just not sure that something is 'perfect.'

I was keen on Oliver (think it sounds really cool for any age range, but I do dislike 'Ollie' which is strange because I like a lot of nickname type names.) I'm a teacher, and I have this not nice at all student in my class this year named Oliver and it's really put me off!

I also quite like Jack and also Callum but teacher friends of mine have pointed out they teach 'a lot' of boys named this who are quite naughty (also have a Jack in my class who is quite difficult.) (I know I shouldn't be influenced but I can't help it!)

Like I said, I like nickname names (Charlie, Max, Archie) but I'm not sure they would suit a boy as he grows up (college applications, job interviews etc.) which is important to me.

I've always really liked Quinn (it was also the name of my first horse who I adored) but I'm not sure it fits in with the rest of my family.

Selena is a family name passed down for generations but I'm not in love with it. I don't dislike it either, and I know my Nan would be really pleased if I used it but I don't love *love* it.

I also really like Charlotte but I know it's my sister's absolute #1 name so I feel it would be unfair and I really dislike the 'Lottie' pet form (though she loves it and I wouldn't want her inventing the 'Lottie' nickname despite my protestations.)

I like the following nickname type names but they feel a bit incomplete and/or cutesy: Molly, Rosie, Millie (possibly?) Maggie, Emmie and Evie.

Other potential contenders are Sophie (not sure if it's too popular: I have two girls named Sophie in my class alone) and Lily (which is gorgeous, but really doesn't go with my surname which also has the same repeating L sound.)

Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to (if possible) have three solid suggestions for each gender. TY!

Quinn would be a great boys name, too.
