Drew Barrymore has welcomed a second daughter, named Frankie. Her first is named Olive, which is personally one of my favourite names, but I don't care for Frankie that much. I thought it was a boy when I heard the name.

I like Frankie as a nickname for Frances/Francis but not as a stand alone first name. It just doesn't age well.

I'm friends with a Frankie whose 25, its his full name, I prefer it as a nn. Every other time I've seen it used it's always been girls. Not into Frances but Francesca nn Frankie would be lovely.


Olive is NMS while I love to eat olives I dont get it as a bb name. I'm not a fan at all of the food related Sage, Hazel, Saffron, Coco, etc

I love boy names for girls...but not this one. :( BUT I have a bad association with the name too considering my 7th grade exboyfriend punched a tree....well...a hilarious and silly association.

Olive is cute. Isla Fisher's first daughter is also named Olive I believe.
