I like Alexander and Isla. Paris and Cypress is too matchy-matchy for me, in that they both make me think of Troy.

Cypress is unusual choice. I'm of two minds. I generally don't like places as names unless it has a family/personal connection.

I know preschooler Makai who goes by nn Kai. I think it goes well with Alexander.


I've seen Samson a few times, I like Sam but Samson/Samuel/Samantha are NMS


Since about 2010 in Australia Isla has been getting closer to top 20. I'd still use it even if it got to top 10 its my one exception.
