Name help, please!

I'm writing a Captain Swan (Killian Jones aka Captain Hook and Emma Swan from Once Upon a Time) ff and I'm stuck on a name for their daughter. Hope seems to be the fandom favorite but I just don't like it.

I feel like they'd name her after his mother but we don't know anything about her.

Jane Austen era name maybe? Killian's from the Enchanted Forest and was in the Royal Navy, his brother's name is Liam. Which is usually their son's name. Emma was also born in the EF but grew up in our world. And has a son named Henry but she didn't name him.

Jane Austen era names are very similar to the names that are popular now in England, the more old fashioned ones. Here (http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474977156359) is a link with links to some great resources. Just going to put forth Georgianna because it's one of my favourites that was popular at that time.

Killian is also an Irish name, and Liam is a traditionally Irish dimuniative of William, so it's possible their mother might have been the EF equivalent of Irish. I believe Irish names were banned in that time in Ireland, but perhaps not in the EF. You might look into Irish names for something different.

I feel like a good way to capture that era would be to name a character Maria and pronounce it as one would "Mariah," like in Mansfield Park. The first time I saw one of the (many terrible) film adaptations, I was like, "What the FUCK did they just call Miss Bertram?"

But other Austen names that might inspire you:

Fanny
Julia
Mary
Susan

Elizabeth
Jane
Lydia
Caroline
Georgina
Charlotte

Elinor
Marianne
Margaret
Lucy
Anne
Sophia
Eliza

Harriet
Augusta
Isabella

Catherine
Eleanor

Frederica
Alicia

I don't know anything about this fandom but Killian and Liam sound as though the characters are meant to be Irish, and if you want a Regency era name that their mother might have had, you really couldn't go wrong with Mary, Catherine, or Elizabeth.

The actor is definitely Irish (Colin O'Donaghue) and plays him with his natural Irish accent.

You could name her Mary or Margaret, after Snow White's SB name.

A lot of Victorian names are pretty popular now - Amelia, Charlotte, Claire, Grace, Hannah, Josephine, Samantha. Some older-sounding names are Letitia, Eudora, Fidelia, Jessamine. I feel like Emma would pick something short and simple, so I like Claire, Grace, Hannah, Lily, Sarah, Mary, etc.

Names that were popular in the U.S. during the Victorian era that are also simpler are Alice, Clara, Anna, Marie, Rose, Laura, Nellie, Ada - of course, aside from the very popular Catherine, Mary, Elizabeth options.

I know this is a kind of old post but I do like Hook and Emma as a couple, if you can get over the fact that it would give Baelfire a huge complex. His mother ran off with Hook, then his girlfriend/mother of his child ran off with Hook... Poor Bae. Where can I read these fan fics? Are people posting them online?
