love you megan, but not too sure about this celebribaby name.

Last week, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had their second son, named Bodhi Ransom. I think it's quite a departure from the name of their first son, who is named Noah Shannon.

WDYT?

I swear Bodhi is becoming a really popular name lately.

Noah Shannon is really lovely. Bodhi Random sounds like Noah's evil, alternate universe twin or something.

How do you go from Noah Shannon (pretty normal, middle name MAY be considered a little out there but totally within the realm of normal, to me) to BODHI RANSOM? Ransom? Wtf.

I like Bodhi. It means awakened in the Buddhist religion. Ransom is horrible.

I like Bodhi, but I'm not fond of Ransom at all. And it's an obscure sibset combo...

That sounds EXACTLY like the sort of name I'd give one of my sims. It's the sort of name I adore but would never have the confidence to use on an actual person.

I love it!

I don't like Bodhi primarily because it's an abstract noun/concept (usually translated to "enlightenment") as part of the Buddhist religion. This is not the best comparison, but I kind of see it like naming your kid Communion. It just seems like the kind of name a non-Buddhist couple would select to sound edgy or liberal. And I don't get the middle name with it.

On the other hand, I love the name Noah.
